You will notice that many of our buildings have had a fresh coat of paint and that the school looking polished and welcoming for the new year.
Sincere thanks to our Groundsman, Tim and our amazing cleaners who have been hard at work getting the campus spic and span for the beginning of the year after what has been a very hot and wet summer vacation.
We look forward to seeing further facilities and grounds improvements this year with the support of our P&C.
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome new staff to our school, Karen Wilson 2G, Rachel Coutts 2G, Jade Bowser 5G and Ruth Wong Languages Mandarin.

Student Pick-Up and Drop-Off
Students should arrive at school no earlier than 8am and be picked up no later than 3.30pm unless participating in extra-curricular activities.
Parents who need supervision for their children outside of these times should enrol their child at MacGregor Outside School-Hours Care (MOSHC) as no supervision is provided at school outside of these hours.
Please call the office and let us know if you are running late for pick-up.
The safest place for drop-off and pick-up is the drop n go zone in front of admin. Parents must remain in their vehicle when using this zone.
Students must not be encouraged to wait unaccompanied by a parent in the adjacent shopping centres. This in in the interest of your child’s safety.
A REMINDER THAT ALL PLAYGROUNDS ARE OUT OF BOUNDS BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL
Phones Away for the day
All schools must require state school students (except for those with approved exemptions) to keep mobile phones switched off and away for the day and/or disable notifications on wearable devices during school hours.

This is a legislated non-negotiable requirement.
Wearable devices (‘Smart Watches’) must be disabled during school hours and must not be used to make or receive calls, texts, take photographs or make recordings. Mobile phones should be handed in at the office before school.
Parents will be contacted if incidents contravening this policy occur.
